If your looking in the right places and you have cash, it already is a buyers market. A lot of Economic problems we are supposedly facing are extremely hyped because of the current political situation and because it sets the tone for other things which i dont have the time or patience to go into. However, if you look at the bottom line, Just about everything that was readily available 2 years ago is still readily available, without credit, the average person now has to catch up one month and actually spend what they have. Big Deal, thats how it should be anyways and the the truth of the matter is that a very large portion of Americans live check by check. So everybody keep working on their race cars just like Chris, smokey burnouts are also a plus (the tire industry loves you).

Stealthmode has dropped off as winter approaches, but the painting company has never been booked out this far.

Well the stock market crashed in 1929, is wasn't till around 1933 that we actually entered the great depression, basically everyone got burned so they stopped investing money, everyone started saving all of their money which caused buisnesses to fail, people started losing their jobs (unemployment went up to 25%) yada yada.

Back then we were the worlds financier so alot of countries that depended on us, this time its the opposite and we are dependent on the countries that have been saving their money and lending it to us like china/japan, their stockmarket is falling rapidly, iceland is on he verge of failure, but yea you can still get a car loan and buy a house here so everything is peachy keen.

give it a year or so then we will know how bad it is, really the collapse has just started and since this has never really happened before noone is quite sure what to expect.

I think I'm in most peoples' case, that I don't have any money wrapped up in the stock market. My businesses have their lines of credit already in place, and as long as people don't freak out, WTF does the stock market really have to do with me (a.k.a. everyday white people)?

In the long run, I'm a white male member of HMT, where we make ---- happen on the daily with two hands. I've got guns. Whatchu wanna do?

Same thing for me, I don't have any money in the stock market, other than retirement fund which is sort of in stocks, but only around 14k in there so far, but thats long term, im sure in 16 years it will be higher. lol
i am really thinking about getting into the stock market with some money though, while its low, i think that its a good opportunity for people that have no money into stocks, to maybe get in it.
