you don't have a clue stop talking.

there are vests that'll stop higher powered rounds than the slow 7.62x39mm

never seen the videos from iraq with some camel jockey sniping a GI in the chest and the guy falling down and getting up and running away?

Look at the pic of the iPOD. That bullet WAS a FMJ round.

This is urban warfare where the Iraqis know the US soldiers are wearing body armor. No JHP round is ever going to pierce their vests, PLUS JHP rounds are MUCH MUCH more expensive.

JHP rounds only work against unarmored personel, that's it. Once a JHP round hits body armor it ------s out and releases all of it's energy in the armor.

Word if you think they are using anything but a fmj you are on crack. A hollow point is useless against body armor and most of the stuff they are shooting is prolly cold war era ammo in the first place.

probably thinking of the same one. The guy is on patrol walking by a humvee, shot goes off, dude hits the deck, pops back up in a split second confused as hell and takes position behind the vehicle?

EDIT: this one? http://youtube.com/watch?v=jXMjh_XbkiI
