It's quite obviously a red bumper cover that's been resprayed white. You can see the familiar chipping pattern to the red splotch.

Murder is a solo endeavor. When you get other people involved, you greatly increase the risk of getting caught. This thread title is misleading. That car is just a pile and probably had nothing to do with a crime other than the hack artist that worked on it. :P
