i was 13 maybe 14 before the servers went down. haven't touched the cd in a year or two when i last found it, theres tons of tribute sites floating around. and all that game was, was basically a hmt vs ht style of building your car, either used or new ----, with every single part being a real part that existed IRL.

it was fun... beats any racing game period

i was about 14 to an thata game had so many diff ---- u could do in it an was just all around beast....j/w if anyone rememberd the good ole days of car games(dream weaver moment)

I had STREET LEGAL, was awesome, you could pick a car, buy blocks, heads, headers, turbo's, blowers, nitro, cams, clutches, starters, batteries, wheels, tires...---- the list goes on, then you paint your car and take it out in the city...Yes it was an actual city with other cars and you track them down on the map and race them, I had a Mustang looking type of car and was able to do a wheel stand from a stand still, the best part was the wreckage, it all looked real, the cars would dent, crumple at the A pillar, crumple in half, it all depended on what you hit, how you hit it and how hard.

Other than the lag, lack of multiplayer and the fact that at its time there was graphically better games out there and no one played it, it was awesome...I sometimes think that it would be awesome to be in to computer programing and make a tuner MMO, not like need for speed 2f2f bullshit, but actual performance parts, actual cars. so pretty much its a giant ------- city and you are the car on the screen, you can drive to your garage and select what you want, you would win money by attending shows, street races, and so on, pretty much it would a a gran turismo sort of game but with a GTA city theme.
