The owner estimates it is putting down over 700 hp now. He's got cams to install yet. The car is sick.

2g probes have a very low drag coefficient, one of the lowest for any production cars. i'm sure that helps, alonmg with probably weighing less than 2500lbs

isn't the mercury cougar the new generation probe? it was supposed to be called probe by ford but they decided to not market it and sold it as a mercury iirc

fallguy was one of the first to turbo the engine i'm using in the ute. he made 400whp fwd 1g probe on just forged pistons and the usual. he had the shitty cams, and the restrictive inlet.

why probe? because he already had it, and wanted to take the same car to the next level (ran 11 flat on the 400whp fwd setup i think)
