I installed my alarm myself, it wasnt too difficult. What do you need help with?

Be specific and we can help. It's not hard at all if you have basic wiring skills.

Are you having trouble locating the wires on your car to connect to?

Re: anyone near NOVA good with alarms??

i have basic wiring skills my problem isnt the whole alarm.. i am having real problems with just basically the power doorlocks.. as my crx didnt come with power doorlock's i am adding in the actuators and for the life of me cant get them to work when dry wiring it.. i am trying to get everything setup out of the car so i know exactly what wire goes where and what does what that way when its time to go in the car i can stealth install it and know what goes where and does what. i can take pics of some of the stuff i have and the diagram of the wire placement and stuff if that will help me at all..

I don't quite understand the problem other than it's involving aftermarket door actuators. Are they a 2 wire design (like mine)? Power and ground... test them on your battery before you put the door panel back on to make sure they are aligned and work correctly.

regardless of how i hoof the door lock actuators up i cant get them to work.. the wiring schematic shows 3 wires to the relay but i have 2 4 pin auto relays and 2 5pin auto relay and either set i hook them up too i cant get them to work i know the wiring to the realy itself must be wrong.. on the 5 pin relay im not sure what 85 and 86 get hooked to if anything at all and on the 4 pin relay im not sure what 86 gets hooked to if anything at all

Re: anyone near NOVA good with alarms??

I used 2 standard 5-pin relays on mine.

Look at this link, I think you want the "Actuators / Reverse Polarity"

Uhhh...you try swapping the + and - wires to the actuator?

btw, I'm doing the same thing. Just bought some keyless handles from turbohf, have a keyless entry/remote start thing I got for a conversion harness, and a couple actuators out of one of donalds balla cdm keyless entry systmes (bought after I forgot I already had a setup)

Switch the 2 wires coming from your alarm that control the locks.

Re: anyone near NOVA good with alarms??

well now i really feel retarded.. i posted this same question on HT in the security section and a guy responded back that i didnt even need to hook up a relay because my alarm has them built in so i hooked it up just like he told me too and boom worked right away and wasnt reversed like it was last night..

just thought i would add that in.. and thanks JOHN and all that helped me out yet again
