Anyone make adapter plates anymore?
Dont really think it belongs in FI or FS so im makin it here. but does anyone make adapter plates anymore? I know BMC and Aaron used to, but I dont see them around anymore, and I need one for a CX mani and 14b turbo

buy a threaded bmc 14b flange and weld it to the opening of the cx mani gangster style

my buddies lancer w/ evo turbo setup is essentially an Evo turbo manifold with a lancer header flange welded OVER the Evo flange, and slightly ported to fit :y :8

Those are flanges, not adapter plates. And 18.00 for a t3 flange...nigga pleez :-\

That site sucks. How will it help him make an adapter plate. It doesn't even have a 14b inlet flange to even weld onto a manifold. Yeah they can make a flange since it's not on their list but did you read this.

Plan on ordering at least 6-10 flanges of a certain type to offset the price of production and programming." BMC sells 14b flanges for 15 bucks a pop. Just buy one and weld it onto a HF mani or find a Y7 mani and cut off the cat and use that. Would probably work better. |

i actually have one that i bought from hotrex back in 2003, once it arrives you can have it :y

I ordered two flanges from him on Sunday. I received them on Thursday. How is that for fast shipping. Typically, if he has them on hand, he gets them out ASAP. But if he needs to fabricate them, he's got to retool his machines for a series of them. That's what take the most time. |
