I have been around boats all my life, my dad always had one and always let me and my friends take it out when we were younger, after I graduated he sold the boat and I was stuck using my friends boat (really nice one) now that me and that guy are no longer friends I'd like to get my own boat. No just "regular boat" I'd like to get a tournment style ski boat with direct drive/Inboard engine. Watersports is by far my favorite thing to do, in fact this whole "boat deal" is putting my car on the back burner for a long time. I really have no desire to finish it right now, I'd rather enjoy the summer on a nice boat.

Btw, I think SolFastD16 is getting me some pics, the boat is pretty old but they are just really rare and of course I am cheap so I will travel to get a decent deal if I have to.

I'll be in Vegas for the NHRA Sport Compact Series #2 July 16-17 with the GF and visiting my dad.

My roommates boat is a 1969 Shoester(SP) V bottom with a recently rebuilt( ) 455 olds. That motor is such a pile of ----. It sure does have torque though.

ehh.. well see, I just wanna have a nice crusing boat, nothing fast just something I can go out on the lake and relax on, but perform when I need it to. (damn I'm getting old)

you will love having your own boat. my dad has a 95' stratos fish/ski with a 150 horse v6 fast strike engine. its awesome congrats if u get it! =)

A guy I work with has a 1958 Campbell flatbottom jet boat. It's 100% wood and in like perfect condition. He hasn't driven it in like 20 years.
