anyone know of a place that will take scrap cars??
 

whats up people i have a totaled car that i need to get rid of but i dont know who will take it, i stripped everything off of it so ecology wont take it and i called local recylcing centers and they wont take it...... i got 10 days to get rid of it or i will be fined-----by the way im in san diego if anyone knows a local place. any ideas?????

Isn't California a big junkyard? There must be 15-20 of them just in your city?

well i dont think the neighbors would want an unfixable (frame) crx and thats the thing when i called ecology(because they say they take scrap cars on tv) they said only if it had the motor and running (when i said its a wrecked shell, they said no)

tehre is a guy in el cajon that took a meata off our hands that was recked and striped for free.. i forget the name of the place i'll ask my dad tonight when i see him.

i think he got a guy ( flat bed) and came and picked it up. i can cruss over and try to find it 2night or 2marrow night.

dude, jus call the cops, they'll take it. they don't like car's in our city that don't move so they take it off ur hands n crush it for free... PM me for the number to the cop. they'll even pick it up. even if it has no wheels n ----, as long as u got the pink slip

hits pretty fucked up, i dont think the frame can be fixed. the crx was hit in the back left of car (but the rear hatch looks fine, didnt break) but by the time im done stripping it out there wont be much left (except the shell) if i can get it out with ut putting donuts on it i will....... but if you wanna take a look at it be my guest, and you can have it

take the vins and push it on the street...someone will take car of it someday, plus it will add character to your street

I agree, you could always cut it apart and hide it in your backyard, and scrap it piece by piece ever night at the back of the variety store trash can down the street. make sure you grind down all vin #'s or remove them so they cant trace it back to you if they catch on.
