Re: anyone know how i can get a tire code?
I thought one of the tire dealer places (tires.com) would let you put your car and rim size in and they'll tell you what size tires you can use. ???

But 18's? WHY would you want such big and ugly rims. Don't tell me it's on a civic or a teg. That ruins the car! |

Re: anyone know how i can get a tire code?
The only reason to need bigger rims is to clear bigger calipers and rotors. After that it's just for looks and will just slow you down. I can't imagine how heavy 18's are. Probably atleast 20lbs per rim if there not forged. Even forged 18's are in the mid to upper teens. I love my VX's and can get tires dirt cheap but only good tire I found is Yokohama Advans. Your tires are gonna be super mad expensive for all that useless rubber. Your gonna need a turbo'd car to push those 18's around.

Re: anyone know how i can get a tire code?
cause there HUGE and our cars arn't. it looks UGG, it'll kill your turning radius, and it will make u slower. but hey if you like the baller look go for it.

Re: anyone know how i can get a tire code?
The tires in my avatar are my Mustangs' 315/35/17's behind my Civic. I don't understand why you would want 18's on a CRX (judging by your avatar that what they're going on?)

Re: anyone know how i can get a tire code?
Anything over 16's on a honda is gay!!! Set aside the baller Hondas like s2000 and NSXs.
It's ugly, slows you down, and make you rinky dinky brakes work like ---- (if you increasing the total diameter of the wheel/rubber) Let me guess you have drums on the back also!!! That would look mAd TyTe JDM Style then!!! |
