I'm kind of trying to figure out if you really just like instigating to watch it unfold or if you really think that a 96 honda civic is just as much or a girly cheerleader car as a Neon. Like really if that isnt the biggest load of "Im blinded by Dumbestics/ America is the best everything" propaganda. lol

The god damn car has power windows in the front and rollups in teh back. come the ---- on, its a piece.

and I dont care what anyone says if you take 100 stock hondas and drive them for 100K and take 100 stock neon SRT4's and drive them for 100K you will see the quality in the cars. the neon will be ---- after about 80K compared to how the honda will hold up.

Base Civic > Base Neon. Neons are targeted for single moms. RS is a habitual line stepper! ;) Buuut the srt4 is pretty damn nice inside and I think they did a good job with it

And civics are targeted for the same crowd. What the hells the difference? Yes I'd rather have a base model civic than a neon but hell, lets talk top models here. SRT4 or an 06 civic Si? I'd take the SRT4 hands down any day. ;)

you have'n drivin a 06 si, not to mention it looks 40X better, srt is a little faster but i've driven my buddies 06si and i thought it was a very fun car to drive and you'll turn more heads with a si than a neon srt4

Neon = Cheap list prices which appeal to a different crowd ;) But yeah for top models I'd take the SRT4 over the 06 Si as well

Well, I also have a thing against the new honda's... that is... I hate them. But I also don't like base model neons.

Now, you offer me an 00 Si coupe vs an SRT-4 (pretend both had say, 5 miles on them brand new condition) and I'd really have to sit down and think about it. :6

According to kbb.com my neon is still worth $17k.


Not bad considering it was $21k two years and 40k miles ago.


and there are quite a few people on srtforums that have turned 100k in their neons.

Lots of them have upgraded to bigger turbos at 60-70k as well.

They were 20k for the first year, then they added the Quaife and it went up to 21k.

they sold for 20,999 in 04 for the improvements....then u could upgrade to stage whatever mopar u wanted for however much....then there was the ACR package....much better handling for the track.....but when driving on your average city road.....u get out of the car an ur back hurts from the stiffness

I got an ACR.

One of 443 black ACRs made... I don't know how many are left... don't care, I'm keeping my car.

I looked up private party value... and it's $16995. My car was $21ish + taxes. So a little more.. but stickered out at $21k.


I'm dropped on mopar stage1 springs, and have my struts set at 5. My back doesn't hurt after a long drive... :l

thats one of the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life. you're a ------- moron if you think the Honda civic had the same shitty quality interior of a neon. *see roll up windows in the back and power in the front comment above.

Only thing better in the SRT4 would be the seats. But they didn't even do the whole damn seat in fake leather like the RSX nooooo just a little here and a little there.....

SRT is faster but its a piece of ----. For Christ sakes when the car came out it spewed oil through the turbo and the manufacture couldn't fix it till like 6 months later. They were offering to buy the car back from folks, or atleast I know 2 folks inthe Hampton roads area that got that letter.

I was about one john hancock away from owning an srt4, and at the last minute backed out.

Im glad I did because I bought my 95 integra for 4500 with 80k on the clock. $750 later I eat mustangs for breakfast and LS1's for lunch... :6
