HIS turbo project lacks nothing more than the time necessary for us to hook up a few tidbits, tune it, and then laugh at everyone we pass.

Fact of life: Your gonna have to pay something somewhere. If slo_crx1 wants to buy a ------- car then who are you to stop him with your "boo ho $400 a month blah blah"

Maybe he's ballin and gonna roll up and slap $18K cash on somebody's desk...

My CRX ran for well over two years, daily driven.

I've built or somehow had my hand in dozens of cars. On some of them I did and built everything, like Cole Harris' car, had an intermediate level of effort in like Trav-ASS', or I merely consulted and then tuned. Do you understand what I am saying? Consistently, everything I touch ran for longer than 30 miles.

Turbocharging something involves keeping the turbo on the vehicle - stop running around the internets talking about something you don't know anything about. :1

Actually, yes...I do. You know why? Because I can, and can afford too...that's why. ;)
And while you might buy your $300 junker with your $300 homemade turbo kit on it, I'll guarantee that in a year's time I'll still be driving my car with no issues and in comfort while you'll probably be searching for another $300 beater after the first 2 months.

Don't hate just because you can't do it yet either, it's taken me a long time to get where I am now. Just for that I might roll on down to the BMW dealership instead. :-*
