anyone on here from las vegas area??
 

ill be in vegas for the memorial weekend and i know that they have a 1/4 mile drag strip (i believe all the import guy race there) well i just need to find out about it and if there running next weekend. so if you from around there....hook me up with some info. thanks

I think I'll be in Laughlin against my will for memorial. :l The GF has some friends staying there and I guess that means I have to go. :3

well laughlin is only about 1 hour away from vegas...justin you should cruise up to l.v. (ill smoke you out, w/ the stiki ikki from cali)

Um they have one import event there a year NHRA. Yes imports race there along with other motor vehicles. Midnight mayhem is usually what the do once a month on friday there. You can be like Jeff and I and watch outside the fence and get yelled out by handyman

Bring some suntan lotion because your gonna get pretty hot out there at that track. There is no shade at all. Watching all the pro fwd/rwd cars is just badass, you'll probably nut in your pants like I did.

is midnight mayhem for "everyday people" to race in? or is it a nhra event only? im thinkin of runnin in a rental car ;D and where is this fence that you speak of?i know vegas is hot (even at night) but i dont think ill need suntan lotion at midnight? (maybe im wrong) i cant wait to go to a 1/4 mile track, cuz in san diego we only have a 1/8th mile....do you know how much it cost's to get in?

check out the las vegas motor speedway page for upcoming events. midnight mayhem for this month was on the 19th. next month I think its on the 2nd, but not sure.

Midnight mayhem is like 10 bucks to get 25 to race but dont quote me I ahvent been in a year or so. Vegas doesnt cool down its not like the deserts of California. Midnight its still 100 degrees big reason that place kinda made me nuts.


The fence is right at the street but dont park and look through a fence. me jeff did it becuase we went and it was like 30 minutes from closing


Vegas scene has far has cars goes kinda sucks atleast the Honda World. Midnight mayhem you will usually see alot of supras,vipers. For Hondas they are still like 5 years behind. Lots of 15-16 sec cars
