Anyone Have Tips on How To Remove a Layer of Paint?
So i just picked up an OEM bumper and it was painted primer black. I got it home and got to looking at it and noticed that in a few places the black paint was chipping and under it was perfect factory paint the same as my car! I tried using a pressure washer with hopes that that would continue flaking off the paint but not alot of payoff for alot of time invested. I can pick it off with my fingernail but i will be there till I die. So i was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how to go about removing the primer layer of paint to expose the factory paint beneath it, or am i just screwed and just need to get it repainted? Not sure if someone knew of a mAd Tyte JD-eM method yO!

you can also get these like scuff things at napa. they come in red and green. they are used to scuff up bumpers and ---- to paint. Forgot about those. use a light one first...one is more course than the other. Its been a long time since I have used one...

use medium grit sandpaper and scuff it up w/o going all the way through(if thats possible) then hit it with some 320 grit until u get the color. then wetsand up to 2000 grit, then reclear with some really expensive rattlebomb clearcoat.
