I've warrantied my E815 three times now, I'm frankly scared of some of the new overly complex widgets, a la Murdoc. Bet your biscuit you'd better hop on some forums and ask opinions, and if that Pearl hasn't been out for at least 6 months so there's plenty of consensus you need to avoid it.

My backlight dies on each one, the front screen scratches unless you get a cover for it, and this one is three weeks old and makes a popping noise whenever I open/close it AND freaks out when you use the alarm clock function so that I can't shut it off without yanking the battery. I haven't officially gotten the third warranty, but it will be over these problems when I have an hour free to ---- around with Verizon. Again.

lol. so there is a verizon phone worst than the razr. That sucks JD. You should go there and tell them you warrantied it three times already and it keeps ------- up and you want a different phone.
I had a motorola a while back that had the calender feature and would alert you when an upcoming event was creeping up. I started to use it and one day it alerted me that a Birtday was coming up, a birthday that was 8 months away and it kept alerting me. so i stopped using that stupid feature.
