You may be fucked since tracking will show the tranny returned to you since he never signed for it.

I returned pistons that had obvious detonation damage and claimed 250 of the original 400. I scanned and emailed the tracking info showing that ups returned the package and paypal sided with me. I got a letter saying they couldn't refund me as he closed his accounts, so I filed a chargeback. chargeback instantly got my 250 then paypal gave me 200 a couple months later, so I made money.



Maybe file a claim with his shipping company for the damage. They will show up and promptly accept the package and appologize. Then once they realize it was not thier fault they will return it to the shipper and the original tracking number will document it went back to him. That is their policy and what they did to me. But with that info you can give paypal and prove he recieved his ---- back without you havning to pay to ship it again.

i did. lost my reflash cable for my wrx, bought one from http://www.limitless.co.nz/ to replace it.
after 30 days i had no shipment or email saying my ---- was shipped. i had 2 generic 'insert your email here' emails saying it was, but the tracking # and PO said otherwise.
i filed a claim, which got the seller to say 'sorry, i forgot to ship, i'm hotrex's cousin from NZ'
5, amost 6 weeks later he still hadn't shipped (he claimed he even shipped a second one), and paypal refunded my $ i spent for it.

..about 4 weeks after the first cable he claimed he shipped, arrived, postmarked AFTER the claim filed in my favor. free cable that i had f/s about 2 wks ago on here . by that time i found my brand name made in USA cable from openecu (tactrix)

The damn case got a chunck busted out during shiping but where the axles goes in is all fucked yup and I can slide gears in the diff with my finger. So I figur he shipped me a fucked tranny just figuring I wouldn't know anybetter and just file with the shipp saying it got fucked that way.

PayPal rules:

1) ALWAYS use the credit card
2) try paypal's return crap first, then dispute with card company.

I got screwed on a shortblock. Bought it on ebay. Seller lied to DHL about weight so shipping was about $150 less than it was supposed to be. Arrived looking like a saran wrapped basketball. Tore it down to find the crank was fucked (supposed to be good running, no noise). Contacted seller, he declined a refund, tried paypal, they specify you must return the item in the condition it arrived, so I voided that by tearing it down, not to mention the correct shipping cost was within $50 of what I paid for it. So Paypal refused my claim, and because my uninformed *** used the bank account I couldnt do ---- about it. Lesson learned. Also know that you are responsible for return shipping. So, I guess if you want to be a dick and save your wallet, just dispute the transaction.
