yep when transferring directly from you computer. It's count as a data transfer with mywirelesswindo as type and wxp1 as rate code. Haven't had a change to talk about customer service about it. I think it's stupid

i had mine for like 6 months now. the first night i had it i dropped it in a cup of water and didn't work until the next morning. then like 4 month later i had to get a new one cause mine stopped taking charges but it didnn't cost me anything. its a great phone.

Yea mobile phone tools is the way to go. Go to your local computer store and get a 4-pin mini usb cable adn u can transfer data that way, and no u wont get charged for tranferring anything from your home computer because u dont have to go online for that or anything. You could potentially do that even if u didnt have service so how could they charge you.
