ive always wanted to see a johnny cash movie. since i never got the chance to see the man himself in concert

but theres alot of bitching going on about how Joaquin Phoenix, the dude who playes johnny cash doesnt look like cash. doesnt act him too well. and all this other bs. and saying its disrespectful to cash. and whatnot. people ------- expect too much out of everything. i liked the ray chareles movie alot, and Jamie Foxx was awesome in that movie. so i hope pheonix does well in this one.

and then theres thease fuckers trying to start ---- saying johnny cash picked joaquin phoenix to play him before he died.. im like.. wtf... james mangold is the director.. and he picked pheonix.. so yeah.. cash didnt leave behind bs bout wanting someone to play him. ------- publicity stunt. ---- like that pisses me off.

from what ive seen in the teasers/trailers. the movie looks awesome. but then again. trailers over hype the movie. and most of the time make it look out to be something it isnt. u can take all the scences from the crappiest movie. like kangaroo jack ::) and they made that movie look like it was the bomb. when i took my sisters to see it.. i came out of there wondering wtf? :-X

im looking forward to seeing this one for sure tho. but i may wait till it comes out on dvd.

saw it last night. was incredible. i will be seeing it again. i won't say anything to spoil it just know it was worth the 8.50

Downloading movies has ruined my views of threatres.

I only go to see things that seem like they wouldn't translate as well on the small screen.

ive been singing cash tunes since i saw it...movie was definitely quality and i didnt know anything about cash before this

i just got back from it.. thats a friggin long movie.. started @ 1pm and ended @ 320pm. Matinee movies pwn. $7 for 2 people.

Great movie.. a must buy when it comes out of DVD
