Ive installed a few cdm turbo kits and the down pipes never fit.

you have to pretty much cut the flanges off and it reweld everything.

+1 go buy yourself a cheap flux welder and just make one yourself. If you're going to be running ebay kits and manifolds you might as get the welder now cuz you'll need it in the future :y

get something welded to the flange so a piece of three inch pipe sticks off of it. Autozone sells some flexible piping. Use that. Done before on my white eg without a hitch.

What do you need a cross member for, -----? Just remove the x-member and you will have plenty of room. You will save a bunch of weight too. They remove the cross members on motorcycles at the factory! So they can't that big of deal. BTW your links all failed, you sould have just posted the pics. Don't forget to remove that x-member. ;)

I knew that thread was gonna come into play here. :)

Re: Anyone ever used these turbo downpipes?

a x-member on a sport bike is just extra weight. luxury cars need them though. trucks too

Re: Anyone ever used these turbo downpipes?

wow being without the internet sucks. I got slammed at the time was on the dsm board for my dsm adn posting about crossmemebers so that was in my head. What i was talking about was the core support or the radiator support or radiator for that matter. Will they have fitment issues?

x members are overrated. its just the white mans tool to keep the black man down.

I assume by HTM you mean Honda-Tech-Merchandise. Then No. Just use a 2"x4" just beat out the wood that gets in the way with the back end of a claw hammer. Then wood screw that sucker in place and call it a day. Maybe throw in some JB-weld for good measure

Since this thread is a failure, I will use it to say that I lost boost virginity today :y

I forgot all pics and video at my parent's house so I don't want to make a thread about it.

It's pulling too hard, the clutch can't handle that much.
