Most people that know and have met me know that I am a pretty straight laced guy...I dont generally get myself into trouble and my head is screwed on pretty straight.

My car has been down most of the summer, just working on other things, other cars...no time. So I took the afternoon yesterday to finish up and mount my new intercooler piping and weld up some aluminum charge piping (bling bling). Car is running great on my way to a nice meet, had to meet with a friend and say hi...stumbled into a pretty big weekly gathering of mostly Suby's.

So I take off from there, follow my GPS most of the way...it was a nice cool night, no traffic...and I am on a long straight road with the cruise set at 59. I get to a nice straight and I'm like, "----, it...im just gonna do a pull"

Uphill a little, drop it to 3rd (no i'm not racing...im by myself...duh)...floor it, shift, 4...I must have been doing 90-100...I didnt even look down when I saw three cars a 1/4 mile ahead slam on their brakes, I knew...without even seeing the cop on the side there was one there. Slow down and roll by him going 60...."---- ---- ----, I dont need a ticket"

"Wait, his lights arent coming on, wait wait...----", headlights on and he is rolling, slowly. ****** took his sweet *** time pulling out...I was quite a ways ahead and there was a big downhill ahead.

Crest a hill, said ---- it and floored it in 4th, 5th....still straight. I am rev limiting at 123mph...(thats as fast as i can go, 7000 rpm in 5th). I know the main highway is ahead, if I can get there before he crests the hill and sees me, he wont know if I went east or west. Turn on the ramp...felt like I was drifting as the wheels slid on the ramp.

Get down the ramp on the highway...I couldnt tell how far back but now I see flashing lights. Hit my exit the first one and never saw the lights again. If he did see me get off the exit, he guessed the wrong direction because I got behind some slow *** **** and I couldnt pass.

I certainly dont condone it...but it was an absolute rush, I now know why people turbo their Hondas

I was coming home one night from the old lady's, around 2am and I pull up to a stop sign. The road I'm on dead ends into the crossroad and there is another road offset about 10-15 feet on the other side, there is a car there with his brights on so I flash mine because it was late, I was tired and he was straight blindin a *****. He pulls off and I continue on my way, a couple miles down the road that car shows up right on my *** from out of nowhere. He was swerving trying to get up beside me, blowing his horn, flashing his lights practically trying to run me off the road. I was 16 or 17 at the time and still a pretty inexperienced driver, I had a junky old 2.2L Beretta that couldnt' get out of the way of a moped if it had to. I was sort of running from the guy going about 80 or 90 down a one lane back road and I was scared shitless, this went on for about 10 or 15 minutes until I finally got into town where I was headed. I came around the final curve into town and there are 3 city cops with the road completely blocked off. They came up to the car and said they had reports that -I-, not someone with my description or a car like mine, was out paintballing houses. They searched my car and all kinds of ----, I asked if the crazy guy in the car behind me had called me in? Turns out the guy was a raging alcoholic woman beater and was drunk off his *** right then. Gets out of his car wearing nothing but some cut off sweat pant shorts screaming at me that he's going to kick my *** and all kinds of stuff. The cops ended up arresting him for drunk driving and several other charges, sent me home. Not much of a chase I know but that scared the hell out of me.

About a week or so ago couple of my buddys and i riding our bikes around it's abot 11 PM, went onto this one street and one of my friends that was infront of me on his GSXR 600 decided to get on it, so i thought why not? and opened up my R1, flew by him, it's 35 MPH street and i'm doing 135 when i fly by this one spot on the sholder and see a police cruiser just chilling there with his parking lights on. Me and the other 2 bikes didn't even think about slowing down. Funny this is that ------ didn't even flip his lights on. I didn't even see him turn his headlights on. I think he just figured that there is no way in hell he'll ever catch up. So he probablly just got on his radio and what not, but we got out of the area by taking some back roads and ----. Didn't see a single cop around. They never cought us

Owning 2 cop cars a 92 and a 03 i really know where they have their limits, the 92 is just your normal crown vic with a 4.7 281. Up to 30 miles an hour it pulls like ---- but if you get on it at 30 it will drop to second and pull pretty decent up until around 65-70 and thats with 3700 pounds, 138k on the odo and bad rings. The 03(ex police interceptor) has the p70 which is the same engine as the 92 just a few little changes and a supercharger, but what really helps it is the eletronic shift tranny which uses algorithims to change shift points aswell as when to downshift compared to vacuum/hydraulic pressure. Having known that if u can get a cop on a really twisty road and your in a car with decent handling you should have no problem outrunning the older model crowns and if u make 250-300whp you should have no problem outrunning any of the crown vics.

i used to live up in a town called Sultan in WA. i ditched the cops one nite thru a few side streets and a trip over the river bridge and backroaded it to Monroe. well they must have called the Monroe PD because as soon as i hit town off the back roads i was coming up on a gas stataion and got lit up when i pulled in. lucky for me im not stupid and knwo gas stations are public propetery and techincally you can't be given a ticket in there lot. its one thing to pull in there from being pulled over but if you in the lot they cant ticket you. its the same law that is in effect that they car cite you for a accident in a parking lot.
