Default ----...Anyone ever hit a curb in a EG?

Well its winter in canada, the first snowfall in my city was today, anyway I did not get my winters on yet because I was about to buy some this weekend, I ended up hitting a curb at 20 kph thats like 12mph so fairly slow, I was accelerating and turning on to a street and the front decided to slide forward and I hit a curb. the wheel is pushed back, the alligment is off...what I am wondering is if it bent the control arm or if its just aligment? I have no clue what it is now because its dark, but I know that the wheels are crooked like this:

Front Drivers side --> \\ || <-- Front Pass side.

I will be looking at it tomorrow, I just dont know what to expect, this is my first accident since I started driving 5 years ago.

What else could have been bent/broken? the car still drives but pulls hard to one side, the frame is probably ok seeing as it was only 12 mph.

Talk to me guys. this ---- has me worried to no end.

don't worry too much about it. Looks like your steering tie rod got bent. you can buy a replacement at a junkyard for cheap and installing it is easy.

My accord was hit like that one time, ended up needing a lower control arm and rear beam behind the engine. Since civics dont have beams it might have tweaked the lower control arm mounting point, tough to say how bad it REALLY is without seeing it but id bet its probably pretty bad

I know more than the tie rod is bent, the wheel is pushed back a few inches, so it could be tie rod and control arm. sucks either way.

It sucks but its not so bad. I've replaced 3 control arms in my day.
Just make sure you have a big hammer handy.

Also, get a good allignment when you've got it fixed up.

if the wheel is pushed back then it is absolutely more than a bent tie rod, it is at least the control arm and maybe a bent subframe
