and being as such when you put in the drivetrain to make it a complete car you register it as a custom vehicle or kit car witch makes it surpass crash testing,emissions and everything (i think you can even get away without seatbelts if you say it's a "classic" or "historical" vehicle but i may be wrong about that, its just like all the people that build choppers and ---- they don't have to crash test the frames and ---- because the companys are not selling them as complete ready built bikes (witch would make them a dealer) but as pieces that you can put together as a whole
like on kaizo's site says if you don't have to make the shell in to a car you could easily just keep it as a shell but there is no reason to buy a shell with no plans of making it a car

Stop referring to Kaizo's ------- sales pitch. Log onto one of the Locost/kit car mailing lists on yahoogroups, or one of the dedicated web forums and educate yourself.
Most DMVs are populated by **** lunchers who enjoy saying "no" and will let you spend thousands to ---- you on the deal. If you are persistent you will find a stupid cow at the title desk who lets you register a MIG'd together pile of mild steel tube with a 175K mile 4A engine as a '67 Lotus - doesn't ------- mean that's how it should be titled. This ---- is the wild west, and THE only way of reducing your chances of taking it in the *** to a mere 20% is to approach the local DMV 6+ months in advance and explain what you want to do, show pictures, etc, and talk to them three times before you roll the dice.
This is a matter of basic vehicle ownership, and if you haven't done it STFU n00b.

You ship the body in one container "as parts" and the engine in another container "as parts" so that the car isn't siezed in customs. If you go through enough of them, expect them to catch on and some of your containers will be sifted with a fine tooth comb and/or siezed.
Again, this is based off of real world experience I have not reading web sites telling me it's easy because they are trying to sell me something.

So how much does shipping one container cost, you ship motors over right?
You have 50K+ to invest. Its not has easy has you think. Have you linked at container pricing etc from Jap Land. The shipping bills kills some uber profits. Then you have to know who/how what to do to make them legal which isnt info just given out
People who want rhd cars I can get them/register them 100 percent legit.
