How did you pay Dropshop?

If he hasn't sent you a serial number or the software, AND you have a paypal reciept you can email me or some real proof of payment (picture of MO, etc) I can expedite things as I have access to the Uberchip serial generator + works.

And Jon does good work, but he's organisationally clusterfucked. That's not a criticism, but the truth - I have the *exact* same problem. I just stumbled across an unopened envelope with a MO for an ECU a guy sent me two friggin weeks ago.

Amallick, I appricate your concern, but I have a few concerns of my own.

1.) Accord to the forums that www.thedropshop.tv directed me to, you no longer need to connect to the internet to use uberdata. However, when I went to the dyno yesterday (and spent $60 for no reason), it wouldn't let me access my maps because it could not connect to the internet. Strike one.

2.) No map I try to burn to a chip will work, due to checksum errors. My hondata maps used to burn just fine. If I run a fill on my programmer software to get a correct checksum, it still will not run. Strike two.

3.) I paid for the software and didn't hear a word back for nearly a week. I was then sent a snide email back saying "doode, I was on vacation". I understand that, but wouldn't you be a bit concerned if you sent someone $175 and didn't hear a word back? Strike Three.

I'm sorry, but I hope this isn't the way your buisness is run. So far, I've spent $235, and I'm no further ahead. I've already emailed a request for a refund. This truely isn't helping the Uberchip cause, because it just lost one user.

civicunrest- I agree with your concerns, I would feel the same way. If I had paid for a product and it turned out this way, I would be disapointed too. I can't speak for jon, all I can do is try to help.

ON the order page

"ALL VERSIONS OF ERM WILL REQUIRE INTERNET ACCESS AND A SERIAL NUMBER FROM ME.
this is to prevent software piracy. IE: you cant just send erm to a friend to use because we WILL know and shut your version off. Sorry that it has to be this way but it is our time and efforts that created this and we refuse to be ripped off"

the problems burning bins i have no idea why its like that
my versions work flawlessly here and at the shop
ill check into that checksum problem for you
and see if i cannot fix it

Also there is a new ERM editor coming out very soon
its much easier to use and has alot nicer features and options we will do our best to fix any bugs and update all people w ERM with the new software

and further more you have dsl soooo what www.netzero.com is free
all u need to do is sign up and get like 10 hours free
which you can use for dyno time. and if u DONT have a modem in your lap top feel free to email me and ill send you one
so u can use it and tune
