Anyone From Brazil? Or know how their address system works?
I just sold somethign on ebay to a guy from brazil. In my auction is clearly says "ships to united states only". But this guy from Brazil did the Buy it now option I had, and proceeded to ask if I would ship to brazil and how much it would be....So, I figure sure, I'll go tomorrow to the post office and see how much shipping will be. I look further down the email and see that heput his address and look at this ----. I have no idea how to read that.
Rua Desembargador Augusto Botelho 660/201 Praia da Costa, Vila Velha, ES CEP: 29101-110 :S :o :-X :( :1 Can someone tell me how I'm supposed to show this to the post office or what format this should even be in, or if it is even in correct mailing format??? I'm hella confused on that. |

Re: Anyone From Brazil? Or know how their address system works?
make sure you get your payment for that ----..
i had a guy buy some parts from me, and sent me a check for like 1000 over what i wanted.. but i never recieved it and he said i was a liar. ---- it would have been nice to screw him out of the money plus the 1000 bucks. one of the those supposed foreigners and the scams of 'i'll pay more if you give me the extra money i pay you cause i can't get it' good luck with the shipping |
Re: Anyone From Brazil? Or know how their address system works?
if international buyers paying by check always wait up to at LEAST 15 days after deposit before u ship it out
. It usually take banks 11 days of so to relize a bounced international checks/money order. best to take paypal/bidpay on international buyers since it is almost Impossible/take forever for them to dispute. :y |
Re: Anyone From Brazil? Or know how their address system works?
i fukin hate that ----. when someone buys it now but wants to pay in a way that is not listed or wants it shipped to area thats not shippable. guys a prick he knew it when he bid on it. AND hes from brazil. scam. damn brazilians and there soccer

Re: Anyone From Brazil? Or know how their address system works?
i knew it was a scam when it was happening to me. the person told me his 'contact' in the usa that owed him money had sent me the check. i asked him where he was located and he said 'new york' and when i said 'great that is where i am' (even though i dont live near ny) he stopped talking to me. i even offered to go meet his contact to get the money and the extra money and send it too him... but he didn't go for it.
i have probably had more than 20+ emails asking if i wanted to recieve 16 million dollars because of someone's family being slaughtered and now thier funds are locked in nigeria. i politely respond with 'sure i would love to help you out for a very minimal fee, but first i must contact my accountant and he requests things such as your account #, address, name, birth certificate..... and so on' they usually respond with 'i will be happy to provide certain information, but you must tell me your name, account #.... and so on' i forward all those emails to the fbi :) they have sent me quite a few emails about them being scams (obvious scams). trying to scam a scammer, they don't like that :y |
