wow and shipping isn't a rip! :o

And he even has a package with an 8lbs flywheel.

If it was me, I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. Just remember to use the eBay/Paypal coupon if you buy it. ;)

Re: Anybody run this D clutch?

The auction says it holds 30% more torque than stock. I bet it would grab hard, until the thing completely burns out and slips non-stop.

I bought my clutch/flywheel combo from them but didn't go with one of their clutches and just went with an Exedy clutch cause they seem kinda iffy but the flywheel is holding up fine.

I checked over the auction. Seems like a good clutch kit overall. The disk is solid. The only thing i question and i would email him asking if the pressure plate straps are modified. He does say a stronger diaphram and that its heat treated which is a must, so your halfway there. However if the straps are not modified and you really want to beat on it, they make break over time and everything would be useless :'(

Doesnt hurt to ask...

My pal runs it on his greddy kit sohc.
Make sure you break it in a bit.
It slipped a bit the 1st couple days he had it in.
Other than that it great.
Not too much chatter.
Good for a daily driver.

They make ok clutches, i used to help them move a product or two back in the day after i had a few guys i knew use them with success. however over time people who were using them had the pucks consistently break into pieces. They also do not have the superior strap and diagphram treating process. So id think twice about that set up.

Definately ask them about that ----, and if they don't know, you're better off buying a different clutch. It's no different than asking somebody selling "lowering springs" what the springrate is and them not knowing.

damn.... $338 to my door with a 8lb flywheel sounds mighty nice right about now.

I think I would be a bit more comfortable buying one from 88 turbo CRX ... BUUT... you know how it is... inexpensive is never inexpensive enough.
