i play hl2 mods occasionally. recently i started playing sourceforts mod and its soooo ------- fun.

you cant get a cracked version of hl2- steam made sure of that one
if you steal a cd key that will work though

they make sure that you can only use the cd key with ONE account and you have to be signed in to play it

i've tried getting it off Kazaa, but there always something that wont allow it to fully put itself on my puter.

I'm a big fan of Gary's Mod coupled with Onslaught. Build a base and have to defend against endless attacks... it does get a little old after a while though.

you could just go to the store and buy half life 1 for like 10 bucks. counterstrike 1.6 is free if you get half life
