Anybody have experience with epoxy garage floors?

Yeah, me and my old man did the Home Depot/ Lowes route and the ---- cracked and looks like hell. We didn't buy enough and ended up mixing the wrong types of epoxy or something, but the stuff still didn't come out all that great.

So you are blaming the brand of materials??

We didn't buy enough and ended up mixing the wrong types of epoxy or something, but the stuff still didn't come out all that great.
Oh...nvm. It was user error.

This post makes no sense. You should have just left it out unless you just wanted to let us know that you and pops can't figure out how to install the flooring. :1

I just throw a good sealer/hardener on the concrete and go.. epoxy, paint, anything.. it call needs to be redone every 1-3 years in a shop/garage being used.. pain in the ***.

All epoxy's aren't the same. It may still be epoxy, just a thin shitty layer of water/solvent based epoxy that will most likely peel up and make the floor look like ----.

I used that Rustoleum kit on my garage floor. If you're having trouble finding it all ACE hardwares can get it, costs about 50-60 bucks kit does a bit over a single car garage.

At least I have a RUNNING car and MY OWN garage. It's ok, I'm sure you're perfectly happy living in your parents house, driving their car. :1
