anybody ever smoke salvia?
 

my chics brother had some salvia last night and was trying to get me to smoke it. he said it is kinda like LSD but it only lasts like 5 minutes but it seems longer. he said he took a big hit out of his bong and by time he was done blowing it out he thought he was in a desert or some ----, lol. sounds like fun. anybody ever try it? he said it is still legal.

i decided to google it and found this guys description of his trip:

The small amount of material was easily burnt and the smoke inhaled. I held it and set the bong down. After a few seconds I thought I detected a change in my visuals, a tendency to pull to the left. I closed my eyes and the space behind my eyes seemed to explode. I saw silver, red and blue flashing lines made of intertwining, morphing plant life and sea life. Vines, leaves, fish and crocodiles all intertwined and bled into one another in chains of light crisscrossing an impossible space that was somehow above me. I felt I was in a domed space. More than that, I felt I was part of a domed, or curved space. Information seemed to be pouring into me, far more than I could interact with or even perceive. The overall feeling was positive and strangely familiar. I felt there was a definite message that was being transmitted to me, but I am not sure I understood it on any conscious level.

---- that ---- dude. i smoke some like 3 years ago and i got all fucked up. the room started spinning, i couldnt even stand up. and when i did stand up, i fell into a wall and back down onto the floor. yeah, its legal and you can get an ounce for cheap, but it sure as hell aint worth it. ---- that ---- dude. smoke a blunt instead

I bought an ounce of it from an ad in high times a couple years ago. Packed my bong. Took a huge rip. Didn't feel anything. Took another rip. Still didn't feel anything. Got up to go get something to drink. The second I stood up my head came detached from my neck/shoulders and floated about a foot above me, so I feaked the ---- out and fell on the ground. 10 seconds later it was over. I later sold the rest to some dumb ---- at work for twice what I paid for it.
