super-tech(walmart brand) 15-40 .. reving it out to 8500 with oem honda s2000 filter (different internals than another oem honda filter) this is on a semi built b16 with 75 shot shot and 11:1 cp/r reving to 8500 .. i usually change it every 2500 or 2000 miles

I was always using mobil one synthetic, but when I change my oil it always seems really dirty, and burnt, then I switch to castrol synthec, and my oil change is cleaner now

Or the mobil was doing it's job of lubricating and cleaning which is why it looks dirtier?(more dirty?) as opposed to the castrol which isnt cleaning as well?

WalMart. Their "Supertech" brand is made through a subsidiary of Mobil and cleverly designed to extract more cash from you which ends up going to Mobil anyways. You can always order Amsoil online or look for a distributor in your area through their site. If you're around a Napa Auto Parts you can also pick up soem Royal Purple.

yeah i noticed that too when i ran mobil 1 but i just assmued it was carbon from the blow by that 10 psi can produce

castrol syntec for me too-- they're supposed to have the best blend of additives, whether thats true or not, its still a good oil. I just started using 5w40 with the turbo, stock recommended is 5w30 i think, so i figure keep the same better protection when its cold and raise the protection when its hotter to compensate for the added heat and stress of the turbo. just me though
