Anybody else like homemade stuff?
Other than the obvious (turbos for the retards) anybody else like seeing cool/cheap stuff that is actually practical? im bored as hell with my regular websites and started searching for home made. came up with a couple cool things.
http://www.junkyardjet.com/
Homemade jet engine. Got this one off of HMT a while back, don't remember who posted it though.
http://www.backpacking.net/makegear.html
Homemade camping gear. Kinda cool little stoves, tents, backpacks and other stuff that is all homemade.
Homemade hydrogen (kinda cool at the part where they talk about making a bomb outa a soda bottle)
http://www.theodoregray.com/Periodic...1.1/index.html
A big *** saltwater fish tank (one of my other hobbies). This guy has probably 12 grand just into this one tank. Not to mention his actopus tank or his shark tank. One day ill have money like that. Oh yeah, this is also in the DIY section of the website. Really long thread, don't bother reading it all unless your interested. Just scan through and look at all the pics.

I thought they were kinda cool. Im just trying to kill some time and stay interested while my hand is fucked up. Post up some other interesting sites if you know any.
