You're a clueless little **** loving ******; I don't use the n-word.

Oh, yah, I am also tolerated because I know something about cars. Thought I should add that to the record.

I'm in a better mood now because I ate some 2mg Nicorette gum. I wanted to go full on cold turkey, but I would have smoked, so I got the gum instead. I was getting all pissed and think I broke my hand from punching ---- after I had a minor meltdown because I couldn't beat a mission in GTA4. It's all duct tapped up now, so Ima take some Lunesta and pass the ---- out. Thank God I'm only doing MIG tomorrow because that ---- is easy with only 1 hand.

I don't think quitting smoking is hard, WANTING to quit is. at least in my case.

I can go days without smoking. I can want a cigarette and not smoke. The problem is I WANT to smoke, not that I need to.

Once you go a week, it gets easy. But generally it's hard to say what the best way to quit is as every person is a little different.

My experience:
10 years ago, quit cold turkey. Didn't smoke again til like 2 years ago. So I basically started again. Was up to like a pack a day, quit. But I didn't want to quit. So I'm not gonna quit, but rather cut back drastically. Now I smoke anywhere from 0-4 cigs average a day. Unless I am out and drinking, then I'll smoke 1/2 a pack or more. I can say that I do not get serious cravings for it, it's more that I just want to smoke. I actually have a slight craving now for one, but I'll pass... for now.

Why don't I just quit completely? Seems that when you deprive yourself the option to smoke, that's what makes it hard. Sometimes it's better to gradually quit. But of course, if you decide to quit cold turkey, remember not to give into temptation. Once you realize that you can reject it after wanting it sooooo bad, it becomes cake and it'll be easy to say no. You'll actually feel like you overcame something. Have you tried the nicotine gum for when you have really bad cravings?

Wow, you're no fun at all.

Look, if you're ready to quit you just do it. Just like anything in your life. As long as you obsess over how to quit, or if you have it in you to quit, or what you need to do to quit, you are still obsessing over cigarettes which is the furthest thing from the point. You have to be like Yoda, simply do it without all this try bullshit. You wake up one morning and simply do something else with your hands and mouth for the rest of your life, without thinking overmuch on the subject. I've made radical lifestyle changes a couple different times in the past, whether girls or drugs (not much different in how some men react to them) or whatever, and it's as simple as that.

Yep, it is what you make of it. It really is 95% mental. The 5% physical is kinda gay though. I can't sleep and I'm eating like an Ethiopian with a McDonald's gift card. I'm just going to take it a day at a time. Yes I have been remembering Yoda's famous words and am through smoking. It's not the cigarette I'm craving, it's the nicotine. Just like a junkie craves the dope and not the needle. This gum does help. I'm planning on using it until Wednesday and then I'll stop with the gum too. Then my nicotine cessation will be complete!

I've found that I crave smoking the most when I'm in a car, finishing a meal, or after busting a nut. One of my ex girlfriends just stopped by and took care of me after 6 months of nothing, so that was a real test right there. My other booty call got preggers, so she's no longer a viable *** dumpster. Damn shame. Ok time for another 6mg of Lunesta! Now I'm all fucked up on my sleep schedule! It's ------- 5am wtf goddamn motherrfuckers!!!! DIAF everyone! Thank-you.

I quit twice in college. the first time lasted all of about 48 hours because i tried to go it on my own.. the second time around myself and 2 of my good buddies all quit at the same time.. worked like a charm and i haven't smoked since... to the best of my knowledge neither have they... If you find that you are unsuccessful this time around find a friend and quit with them... if you've got someone there to kick you in the ***** if you start going for one its way easier.

You have to break your routine.

I had been wanting to quit for about 4 months and I was tired of spending the money on it and I was tired of fealing like ----. I went on vacation for about a week. I figured that would be a perfect time because It was all new. I didnt get up in the moring and hop in my car and go to work. (I was breaking my routine.) I tried the patch but It made me way to dizzy and I wanted to puke my ------- guts out. The manin thing is wanting to quit. I enjoyed smoking, untill one day I said I dont realy like this anymore. ---- it its minde over mater and I always have said that I am in control of my life and nothing will ever control me(except my boost habit :P) That was almost 4 years ago. Still no smoking.
