Look into Zen-Cart. It's 1000x better. I'm working on a Zen-Cart site right now. Mine requires a good bit of customization the programming front, not the template, so I'm outsourcing some of the work. If it is a basic simple site, it should be very easy to get up and running.

do you know if this works with a regular account with GoDaddy.com? im looking to a pretty basic website.. over 2000 products... but want it very easy to navigate.. it looks almost like osCommerce. .. i just basically need to know what would be the best webhosting server to get in order for it to work.. i dont want to register and buy space if it will not work.

I use HostGator which will load Zen-Cart and osCommerce natively. I'm more fond of Zen-Cart because you can setup one item's attributes and apply it to all of your products very easily. Also I've found their modules work better and are simpler. Overall, I'd suggest Zen-Cart over osCommerce for sure.
