Whats the max speed on a 50cc? I can't imagine very high.

I'd just need a small bike that can do 50 and I'd be fine

50cc varies by model. A spree can struggle to do 30 mph, a Zuma will usually do nearly 40 before mods.

With mods mine does 48 tops but technically it's 63cc now, but like I'm really going to register it as a motorcycle. What's a cop gonna do, tear apart my engine and bust out the calipers on the side of the road? :P

A zuma will do 55ish with the 70cc kit and a few other mods.

mine will cruise out at 45 i take it on us1 and a1a but its kinda sketchy (slow highways)

I'm not into mopeds or scooters, a guy in high school had one souped up like crazy though, I figure for the money you spend buying the scooter why not buy a real motorcycle.
