yeah that suck my buddy had the clutch almost gone and to drive he would floor and it would sound like he was racing and going like 100 mph but he was really going like 20 tops

black del sol, sorry, but your friend is a complete idiot for trying to drive a car like that.
What I say, notphiltran, is to drive a very very slow car. I for instance, would drive my parents minivans, and then have to go to my car. You'll appreciate it more when you realize how slow everything else is compared to your car.

i think his car is accualy slower. since he said his ca was slower aginst the z06. i still say its your clutch if it was the clutch and it was slipping. you would still probebly dyno the same because pulling a car on a dyno is nothing like pulling its accual weight

well i know its not my clutch... but anyways.. its all psychological to me.
but my car feels fast again, a kid in my girlfriends school has a 2004 corvette c5 automatic. he thought he was king ----. she talked some ----, i ended up racing him a few times last night. put a few cars on him both times. all is well in the kingdom again!
