These are "ignition" plugs for cars. Not Spark plugs, but Pulse plugs. I saw their ad in modified mag. It seems cool, but I have trouble believing the ----.

They claim to have 20,000x more power than ordinary plugs. In a sens that ordinary plugs produce 50 watts and their "pulse" plugs produce 1,000,000 watts. I just find it hard to believe.

I visited them at PRI....

they are expensive...they may or may not work, depending. One Vette they threw them on made a bunch of HP and a different one with bolt-ons didnt make any power.

The coldest plug they make is a 7 heat range too so...

Damn, would cost me 125 for a set of plugs for my car. How long do these things last?

I called them yesterday. They have a life expectancy of 50,000 miles +, w/ a 1 year warranty against factory defects or breakage. She said if you drop one, it's covered. And also a 30-day money-back gaurantee if you're not satisfied. So, in my eyes, I spend the $112.95 on 4 plugs, run them through 4 or 5 tanks of gas (that's 2 weeks) and see how they work. Of course, I won't be ordering them until I upgrade to my MSD. I guess if I don't like them, they get them back!

I had a bad experience with them last week, I had a customer bring in his pt cruiser with a running problem, it had low compression on all cylinders and would barely run, when I removed the plugs I saw they were pulstar plugs (customer said he had installed them to see if he could get better fuel econ).
I got a set of stock replacement plugs, put some oil in the cylinders cranked it over a few times and got most of the compression back - I don't think having your cylinders washed will save much gas - I double checked and he had the correct ones for his application - they had very dim spark compared to the stock replacement plugs

that's very helpful. I don't think I'll be getting them. how long had he had those plugs? Were they old? Were they any good?

My guess is if they actually did any good, they would have come OEM on something by now.

the customer said they had been in for 2 weeks or so, he said it ran ok for a week and then the running problem started and got worse over the next week. He said they had a money back gaurantee and was going to try to get his money back.

Thats the way I see it. I've never been a fan of special spark plugs

I read a "rumor somewhere that GM would be running them in all of their vehicles beginning 2010. I guess that will drop the price b/c they will be in MASS production for every parts store in America

The double platinum's GM uses now are not exactly cheap
