basically the same thing I did with my setup, duel stage with a solinoid on a switch.. That switch is ------- ghetto though. Mine was a small switch I mounted on my shifter.

Thats actaully a really cool idea, only problem i see is changing the feul map. It would be nice to switch from a 4psi for cruising, to about 8 for racing. But you would have to have a better feul map when you switched, thats probably why he said its mostly used with the aem ems, is there a save feature on vafcs?

well i was going to use it for 8 psi daily to then have this solinoid switch to 15psi when im in spank corvette mode. also im running turboedit on mymnew motor and figure if ii have phiz tune it for 15psi, then i could run 8 psi no sewat and switch to 15psi and the tune will already be there

Hmmm...on the fly boost controller? ::) Seems a little ghetto to me. I think u would have a problem with fuel map though, even if u did change it. What happens if u change your map, but don't hit the switch?

If you tune up to 15psi, your computer would only use the 8psi fuel setting if that's all it saw.

when the switch is on it goes off the manual boost controller, when its off it goes by the wastegate spring.
