Re: Any body use a DynaPack dyno?
By far the best dyno to tune with and features up the ass. Holding rpm's is tiiite.

Re: Any body use a DynaPack dyno?
I really want to use the hold rpm feeture so we can tune the timing map. He just put a new bullseye 50trim on it. Cant wate to see what kind of power is gona make. I dont know what drift office charges but AXIOM only wants $90 a hour with us tuning.

Re: Any body use a DynaPack dyno?
Yes Drift office's dyno is AWD... Only a few months old too....
NOTHING beats Street tuning with LeeD, Trick Slut 114 and 4 ------s in the car, 1 with a video camera..... :y |

Re: Any body use a DynaPack dyno?
I dont really care what the numbers are, Im just going to tune the timing. Fule is easy, it the timing that really makes the big differance.

Re: Any body use a DynaPack dyno?
Maybe it's just me... but building seems to be something people do before tuning. If you didn't know you dropped the pistons down from the top with the rods already on it's really difficult to take you seriously when it comes to anything technical.

chris, it was an dynojet dyno. wideband was his plx m300 car was my friends n/a b16 with nothing really on it. we did it for just shits and giggles b/c the xencrons type r map ran WAY to rich on his car. i think he has the sheet. nothing really special about a n/a b16. i think it made like 135whp and <100tq. nice try. ;) |
Re: Any body use a DynaPack dyno?
I know why Evans numbers are higher, change the slew rate and they can read whatever you want.
Low slew rate = lower numbers since your trying to accelerate everything at a quicker rate. I learned this by watching Blundar play with his Dynapak when he first bought it. I'm willing to bet Evans uses a slew number about 20 or higher. chris should understand what I'm trying to explain. |
