I like norton, Only time I ever had a problem was like 5 years ago trying to uninstall the old version after I installed the new one. Never had a problem since

AVG Free Version. Works great and doesn't ----- out all of your resources. ;)

That's what I use. Kaspersky is also another very good program.

If your military you can get symantec for free off the www.us.army.mil website or the equivalent for the other services

I have been running a pirated versino of Norton Systemworks 2005 since 2005. I works fine for me. I am not sure what all these rescources being tied up are, ut I don't notice them.

yeah i got my neighbor to let me borrow the semantic disk his boss burned for him lol. free norton ftw, plus i run mcaffee (sp?) and use avg every day. i really dont want to ---- up this puter....

AVG for life. I even get Symantic Antivirus for free and I don't use it :P

ill back up that eset nod 32. It owns norton and macafee by miles. Uses about 1/4 of the resources and ram. This keeps your computer fast.

Dont forget to get some spyware scanners too. Antivirus by itself wont stop 99% of the fucked up ---- that comes onto your computer via spyware.
