im scrappin around for any dumb way to save a few bucks on my turbo beater, i think i can rig the rest of the lines with whats already hangin off the turbo, just need a feed |
Re: another whos used this ebay crap before
You'd still need to get some 1/8 NPT plugs for the spots you don't use, an NTP to BSP adapter for your dummy light (unless you switch to a domestic one)
and everything else. I dont see how you'd save any $$ with that. |
Re: another whos used this ebay crap before
glowshifts stuff seems to be pretty good, im running a few of their gauges and so are a couple of my friends. That adapter wont really make things cheaper, but it does make running the lines easier.

Re: another whos used this ebay crap before
ny freind used on of those on his gsr and it worked good. it still hasnt leaked after like three months of use. just be careful when you change the filter, we almost ripped the oil lines off

Re: another whos used this ebay crap before
why would i need to mess with my stock sending unit at all? its above the oil filter and that doesnt reall look like its too big i dont think it would be a problem, i think it even comes with plugs to plug off what you dont use.
did dudes friend that leaked bad put a gasket between it and the block? i doubt it comes with one, you could probly rip one off a old oil filter |
Re: another whos used this ebay crap before
so theres no way this thing could lower your oil pressure or anything dangerous? do civics have 18mm or 20mm oil filter threads? because they sell both
|
Re: another whos used this ebay crap before
I seen them, I am getting one for the DOHC sold my old cobblefuck brass pain in the ass to make and find all the fittings thing. Seems like it is easyer if your going to use steel line for your oil lines

Re: another whos used this ebay crap before
