another, what gun should i buy thread.
 
alright, have been shooting some of my friends guns lately and would like to pick one up strictly for up north and and the shooting range. im not a hunter so i am in the market for more of a tactical/assult style rifle. im not 21 yet so i cannot get a handgun. also would like to spend 500 max. Let me know what you would suggest.

Use the dealer location search. Find a dealer and make a phone call, or stop by and talk with them. I have 3 places within 10 miles of my shop that can order one.

www.gunbroker.com is where i buy my gun stuff. either that or a local shop... I'd say get an AK for around 400. :y

yea, im leaning towards an ak. the ar15 looks awesome however i dont want to dump that much into one gun yet. ive heard the ak is a great gun the only downfall is that accuracy isnt as good at longer range.

If you are a new shooter it won't matter. The gun will be far more accurate than you for quite some time.
