What would you like to discuss? Present your argument on why he's not a socialist and I'll write a rebuttal. If you're as smart as you say you are, it should be sporting. If you're not going to put any effort into it, don't speak. I really don't believe you can make a case as to why Obama is not a socialist.

Please, in your rebuttal, refrain from the assumption that I myself am a republican or supported either party in the previous election. As doing so will not validate your argument in the least bit. Also refrain from the typical argument filled with fallacies to in order to get their point across.

Usually he cites a million things. Now whether they are credible or even relevant is another matter. In this one though he just makes a claim and has no proof whatsoever. So compared to the typical Johnny thread this takes the cake.

true he stumbles all over the place, the dude is a socialist pos, he has the most liberal voting record of any senator during his short term even more so than admitted socialist Bernie Sanders. Listen to his speaches and what he talks about, socialized health care, ------ing the wealth, During an interview a couple years ago he stated that he wanted the doctors and janitors for the hospital to earn the same amount of money, his main criteria was redistribution of the wealth and everyone making the same amount of money no matter what their job or effort. He also wants to pay black people for their ancestors being slaves.

Please explain to me how he is a socialist? Because he believes that all Americans should have their basic social needs met? If anyone is socialists its the current administration with their $700 billion bailout and their $7.6 trillion worth of Federal Loans. How is giving the middle class a tax break socialist at the expense of the upper class while giving the upper class a tax break at the expense of the working class is considered sound economics?
Libertarian= conservative. Maybe not as mindless as some of the other neo cons but still off the reservation. Look man I have had this discussion a million times before the election and no one has provided a single substantiated argument on why Obama IS a socialist. He has won, the American people have spoken in a big way.
The best you idiots and closet racists can come up with is an interview from 2001 where he talks about reparations and the fact that the constitution once excluded people like him and an interview with a plummer who makes 40,000, beats his wife, owes back taxes but yet thinks Obama is a socialist because he wants to give him a tax cut
