i think the throttle body would work fine. If you were smooth you could make it all mechanical.

It's just making sure the throttle body can cope with the exhaust heat, you'd need to still have a few feet of pipe off the turbo.

I've thought about doing it, but if you design the exhaust right you don't really need it to keep the noise down.

would you want an exhaust cutout to make overall power? opening it beforehand would allow the turbo to spool quicker instead of opening while it is spooled up. yes, it may work, and yes you will make power, but is it worth the effort?
