Another boosted 85 GTS
Hey guys heres another one, seems like a lot of Toyotas lately huh.
Anyways it's an 85 GTS I recently aquired.
Here she is just swapped the kit from my fwd Corolla FX16 and everything almost bolted up.
Mods are
Megasquirt and EDIS
My own custom ramhorn tigged with a smiley
DSM 450cc black tops
Holset HY-35 thanks to 88dx even though it smokes a little
3" exhaust all the way back with baller Vband clamps
Sard FPR
Walbro 250
Ebay wastegate
Ebay intercooler
Supra rear end
Rx7 front brakes

Thanks guys, the MS is great had it in my FX16 for like 2 years and just swapped it over.
I have to tune it a bit more since the GTS has a higher comp than my other motor.
So I'm gonna try to go for 250hp to see if it can hold it and then wen it pops the built GZE
from the FX16 goes in
And ya it's a real blast especially in the rain
Heres the FX currently being stripped of the rest of the goodies and going to the crusher

What coilpacks on the fx16? I want some.
Nice build, i cant believe you got a ramhorn, a holset and a 3"dp in that tiny area Nice work
I would post my corolla, but it's not boosted... yet...

Ya on the FX I used the neon coils for a bit, but I switched back to the
Ford one. And the FX doesnt have a bluetop it's a GZE, 8.0 - 1 pistons,
ported head, basically a mild build.
And hopefully the bluetop holds for a bit since I just swapped the headgasket
a week ago before the turbo.
PS That downpipe was a damn pain in the *** took me all damn day to fit it in
nice and tight by myself, think I took it off and put it on like 50 times, but it
was worth it since everything hugs the block.
