Sick *** house. It's crazy how the price of houses varies so much from state to state. That's like a $650k house out here. I bought mine for $162k and it's less than half that size.
Congrats, assuming everything goes through and you buy it.

Re: The American Dream...darkelvis edition.
Some updates, after the inspection we got new toilet seals/bolts, a new display for the oven, and a new septic system. We close on it in 11 days.
And now for the shock of a lifetime...This house is being sold as an estate, the people who built it died a few years after they built it, the kids are just trying to sell it because it is a burden on them (they are all grown up and have families/mortgages of their own). The MLS listing stated that the house was approx 2500 sq ft (upper and main level). The appraiser went through the other day for the mortgage company, while he was there he did a shitload of measuring and surprised the ---- out of my mortgate guy and insurance guy. They called the city to get the plans for the house and found out he was right. Both my mortgage guy and my insurance guy called me today to tell me what they found. The kids have no idea how big this house is, i always thought it seemed a little big for 2500 sq ft but not this big.....
Main level-1577
upper level-2055
Total liveable area-3632
Add in 1577 (approx) for the basement and 1060 for the garage and the total house size (upper, main, basement, and garage) comes out to 6,269 square feet. HOLY ----
