am i lifting my head

I have a 95 civic with a d16z6 and a t3/t04b turbo on it running 8psi with dms 450's and a SAFCII. toward the end of the summer i would drive it and boost and the coolant overflow tank would fill right up and it would start to overheat, but i would really have to be beating on it. just before i put it away for the winter i drove it to my girlfriends house about 35 min away and back all highway and barley boosted at all and it filled up. I dont think im loosing any coolant and there is no white smoke. I was told i was lifting my head and get get a new head gasket and apr headstuds and that would take care of it.

Aparently it's the sleeves walking/shifting and not a head lifting issue like everybody keeps saying. Basically you need to adjust the timing a little more conservative to fix the problem, but that won't be easy to do with your AFC since it advances your timing.

I've a head gasket for sale, PM or e-mail me. I bought it before doing a compression check, i guess the turbo i was using was in such bad shape it was mixing the coolant and oil because my compression was awesome.

use jb weld
also i cant asee that being a prob on such low boost. perhaps a leaky hg?

You can still have good compression with a leaky head gasket. It all depends on where it's leaking. It could be just a leak from the coolant to the oil, and not affect the cylinders.

You would have to have one rusted up pile of ---- turbo for it to be mixing coolant with the oil.

check your radiator cap, one time i had a fucked up radiator cap and coolant would escape my radiator and go in to the overflow reservuar and my car would overheat
