Am I a dumbass or is there something wrong...
ok so i bought some 18's for my 00 accord ex...the wheels are the universal 8-lug....
my accord is 4 lug...i never even thought to check...but they dont fit...and the dude said they were on his civic...plus i've never seen a universal 8 lug wheel not fit a honda... maybe i've just been lucky....so am i a dumbass or did they change the pattern a little bit on the somewhat newer models?? im gonna put my money on that im just a dumbasshttps://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j...5/DSCN0628.jpg |

never bother'd to look...i guess i could start there...i always thought the 8-lug wheels would fit any 4 lug car...i obvisously found out i was wrong

the accord should be 4x114.3 and most universal 8 lug wheels are 4x100 * 4x114.3
unless its some oddball 4x108 I think? |

i dont know...i guess i should've checked it tho...but its a 00 accord ex...would the 4-wheel disc brakes have something to do with it???

2000 accord takes 4x114.3, 8-lug universal is 4x100
maybe you could find some wheel spacers that would work...but you might want to try and get your money back :-X |

if you look @ the spacing in btween all the holes they look like they are all the same space. they are 4x100 on both patterns

They are two different patterns. Look at the spacing between the lug hole and the edge.

ok so this is sad thread and most of you would vote imma dumbass....understandable... but like rudebwoy said " they are mostly show cars" thats very true...i just wanted a nice set of wheels to roll on...just never thought about the lug pattern....thought all 4-lug civic and accords were the same...well as most of you would say im a dumbass and found out that they arent....
but they are 2 different hole patterns...cause the smaller of the two i cant even line the holes up....on the bigger pattern the threads on the studs prevent the wheel from goin on....its such a close fit :1 :1 :1 |

if it only miss for a tiny bit i`d grind it /force it to fit,by the way the bolt holes look you will alos need the right hub-ring to fit.
