Alternator question.

Default Alternator question.

ok i have a question. I have a b16a2 im swapping into my 92 vx hatch. the old d series alt wont line up with the mouns. what alternator do i need? i have 2 both from D16z6 engines and they wont work. i mean i know i need one from a b series but will one from a b18a1, b18b1 work? i cant get an obd2 one or it wont plug in will it? so i dont know what to do.

An obd2 requires 4p plug swap.

ok cool thats what i was thinking just wanted to be sure is all. Anyone have one i could get. i would like to get this swap running by next weekend.

Here shows when I put a D alternator on B using all OEM parts, except the washers of course.
