Alternator AGAIN

Default Alternator AGAIN

ok so i just bought this sonofbitch the alternator am tired of writting that anyways now that ---- is making noises like the belt is going to break like if the belt is loose or too tight what can it be?? my volt meter from 13.6 goes to 9.0 while driving around i can even listen to my music because the radio turn off and on until i step on the gas but when the car idles low am talking about 750-850 rpms
cant even turn on my HID's without giving it gas if i turn it on without giving it gas the car shuts off i checked all my grounds when i installed it everything looked ok can some tell how to solve my problem

your a *** for having hid's



i would say the belt is too loose but a also got 3 bad alt's in a row from the auto parts store last year. take it off and have them check it

They are easy to replace. Just get another one from the parts store.

Check belt tension, battery, and if the grounds are good then jump the alternator power wire - from the big bolt the power feed attaches to that connects with the underhood fusebox on the pass shock tower and then returns to the battery to charge it.

basiclly check my grounds again?? by the way should i tighten up the alternator belt?? there's like rubber residue under the alternator's pulley what coused that

he hates ppl who dont use ge 60w/120v bulbs run off a walmart invertor, ie he's poor
