lol, yeah thats the two stage home made boost contoller. Some one told me you did the same thing once.
It's just a solenoid of a civic t'd into the wastegate line and hooked to a needle valve to bleed off boost.

The little metal thing is the base I made from sheet metal to hold everything.

Re:Almost there!!!!! (56k quit being so damn cheap)

Can anyone try to diagnose my problem for me?
Symptoms:

1) Car bogs under boost and hard acceleration.

2) Radiator keeps cracking.

3) Radiator only leaks after going into boost for a while.

4) Get some white smoke when reving the engine from idle. (no boost)

I've been reading on HT and it sounds to me like a blown headgasket or stretching headbolts.

But even if the headgasket was blown, would it bog down and run really crappy?

Thanks for any help.

White smoke means that you are burning water, or you have some pod-smoking midgets in your exhaust :D

I have seen head gaskets do some wierd ----. I had one that would only leak when the motor was cold, another one that would leak after the car was off. It would fill up one cylinder with coolant. They can be a real pain to diagnose sometimes. Go to Auto Zone and rent a block checker. This is a clear tube that you fill with a blue liquid, you put it over the radiator inlet and if there is exhaust in the coolant the liquid turns piss yellow. This is the only 100% sure way I know to check a headgasket. If it is the headgasket replace your O2 sensor, coolant kills them. This is what may be causing your running problem.

THanks guys, CC: I'm gonna go to autozone when I get paid, I'll get one of those thingy's and a compression tester.

Today I was driving and after a while It started to overheat so I pulled over and (usually the radiator cap will come off without water spewing, but this time water spewed everywhere.) I am confused about this cause if there was so much water in it, why would it be overheating.

Pressure. It probably has so much pressure in it from the cylinders it's forcing coolant out of the system. You're sure your thermostat is good and your radiator is good right?
