almost there!!
look what i ordered today (don't flame the a/f gauge, it's better than nothing :P)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ME:B:EOAB:MT:6 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ME:B:EOAB:MT:6 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ME:B:EOAB:MT:6 now all i really need is misc. stuff like oil pan filter, some couplers, clamps, etc. the set up consists of: stock b16 cca fmic stealth mani for t3 flanged for external waste gate (will be blocked off running internal for now) stealth oil lines .48/.50 t3/t4 o.k., here comes the cheap stuff (just using this stuff to get by for now, will be upgraded as time and money permit) bosch bov jackson racing fmu (this is the first thing that will be upgraded, i'll be converting to obd1 and running uberdata) crush bent piping (will look butter with some nice flat black paint and nice welds ;D) well, it shouldn't be too long, but my main priority right now is getting moved in the house i just bought, so after that, i'll be all over it ;D |
Re:almost there!!
Glad to see things are coming together for you. Good luck on the move and congrats on moving many steps closer to having a boosted ride, Kevin. :)

Re:almost there!!
i think you should buy a nice air compressor and plum the entire garage w/ air lines ;)
|
Re:almost there!!
sounds good. just get rid of that fmu and bosch bov :-X hey, what t3/t4 is that one your gonna run? did you get it from down2down turbo off ebay? you know that guy that sells remanufactured t3's and t3/t4's for under $400. my friend is going to turbo his b16 and he doesnt know which t3/t4 size to buy. down2down turbo has two different sizes t3/t4b and t3/t4e. just wanted to know which would be better for a b16. sorry for long post

Re:almost there!!
my gauges came in today!! they are sweet as hell! too bad my bezel isn't going to be here until next week :P i could do my install this weekend, but i don't have any bends, i was just going to use crush bent, and then order some mandrels when i got some extra cash, but pipe would be a pita to run twice, so i'm just gonna order some bends and do the install next weekend. i am however going to mount my cca, fmu, and run the wires/hoses for my gauges so when my bezel gets here, i can just pop them in. i'll have pics of everthing, i hope i can make the official "turbo projects" page ;D

Re:almost there!!
your right. sad part is, when i let you drive my d series crx, you will want to trade me straigh tup for your civic. cause the rex is so damn fast/ pimp
|
Re:almost there!!
time will tell, but you can't ignore the sexy lines, grill, interior, power of a boosted 00 si either. even if it is a little slower, you can't match the style, not to mention, once you feel my suspension :-*
|
Re:almost there!!
well to me you cant match the sexy lines of a nicely maintained and pampered 91 crx si , with flawless interior and exterior coupled with the raging power of a built mini me, evn if it is a little faster

Re:almost there!!
your car is still gonna be slow ;)
